Log In to Your VeePN Account
We recommend that both free and premium users log in to their VeePN account for a smoother experience. Logging in can prevent common connection issues. You don’t need to purchase a subscription to create an account, signing up is completely free.
Check Conflicting Connections
Make sure you are not connected to both:
The VeePN desktop app
The VeePN browser extension
Running both at the same time may create a “double VPN” connection, which can cause errors or prevent the extension from working properly.
Disconnect from the desktop app first, then try reconnecting using the browser extension.
Disable Potentially Interfering Extensions
Other browser extensions may interfere with VeePN, especially:
Ad blockers
Privacy or security extensions
Proxy-related extensions
Temporarily disable these extensions and test the VeePN connection again.
Refresh Extension
Refreshing the extension can resolve minor glitches or loading issues:
Open your browser’s Extensions page.
Find VeePN in the list.
Open the extension menu → click Support → Refresh Extension.
You can also reinstall the extension if refreshing does not resolve the issue.
