Errors in device configuration or interference from other apps can cause an unstable VPN connection or prevent connectivity entirely. The steps below provide tips to restore a stable VeePN connection on iOS. For more guidance and advanced troubleshooting, see our Troubleshooting Connection Issues article.
Disable Potentially Interfering Applications
Some apps running in the background may affect your VPN connection, such as:
VPN or network-related apps
Firewalls or security apps
Battery savers or network optimization tools
Temporarily disable these apps and test your VPN connection.
Remove and Reinstall the VPN Configuration
Resetting the VPN configuration can resolve many issues:
Open the VeePN app → Settings → VPN Settings.
Tap VPN Config Reset to restore the default VPN configuration.
Reconnect to a VPN server. Your internet connection should now work smoothly.
💡 Note: If problems persist, try uninstalling and reinstalling the VeePN app, then repeat the steps above.
Following these steps should help restore a stable connection on iOS. Keep in mind that connection issues aren’t always caused by your device, as network restrictions, server load, or account-related factors may also affect VPN performance.
