If a regular website (such as shopping, banking, work tools, or forums) doesn’t load or works incorrectly while using VeePN, follow the steps below to identify and fix the issue:
- Check VPN Connection and Switch Server
- Clear Browser Data and Disable AdBlock
- Review Split Tunneling or Bypasser Settings
- Change VPN Protocol
- Keep the App Updated
- Additional Tips
Check VPN Connection and Switch Server
Make sure your VPN connection is active and secure:
Open the VeePN app or extension and confirm you are connected.
Check for IP or DNS leaks to ensure your real location is not exposed.
Verify that your internet connection is stable while the VPN is enabled.
💡 Tip: If the website still doesn’t load, switch to another server in the same country. Some websites block specific IP addresses or server ranges.
Clear Browser Data and Disable AdBlock
Clear your browser’s cache and cookies, then try again.
Opening the website in incognito/private mode can also help.
If you’re using AdBlock or other browser extensions, temporarily disable them, as they may interfere with website loading.
Review Split Tunneling or Bypasser Settings
If Split Tunneling or Bypasser is enabled, check that the website or app is not excluded from the VPN connection.
Change VPN Protocol
If a website isn’t working or shows an error, try changing the VPN protocol and reconnecting. Protocols can be changed in VeePN settings; see the platform-specific guides:
💡 Note: Browser extensions are proxies and do not support protocol changes.
Keep the App Updated
Make sure you are using the latest version of the VeePN app or browser extension.
If issues persist, delete and reinstall the app or extension, then log in again.
Additional Tips
Try accessing the service on a different device using the same network.
Switch network types (e.g., from WiFi to LTE) if problems continue.
If using a specific app, try accessing the service via a browser for better compatibility.
If the website is still inaccessible, please customer support team for further assistance.
