This guide will help you get started with VeePN on your Windows device, so you can enjoy secure and unrestricted internet access. To get started with VeePN:
Purchase a VeePN Subscription or Explore Free Options
Start by purchasing a VeePN subscription that fits your needs. If you’re not ready to subscribe, you can explore the available free options to get started.
Download VeePN App for Windows
- Download App from our website.
Click VeePNInstaller.exe at the bottom of the page or in your downloads list, then select Run to start the installation.
When the VeePN installer opens, choose the folder where you want the app to be installed and click Next.
Once the installation is complete, open the app.
💡 Tip: If you’re using a Windows version earlier than Windows 10, you can download the Legacy app designed for older Windows versions.
Log In to Your Account
Open the VeePN app.
Enter your email and password, or log in with Google if your account was created that way.
If you don’t have an account yet, select Sign Up at the bottom of the screen to create one.
Choose Location and Connect to VPN
On the main screen, tap the location section below the Connect button.
Select your preferred server from the list, or choose Streaming Optimized or Double VPN servers if needed.
Tap Connect to establish the VPN connection. When connected, the Connect button will turn green and the status will change to VPN is ON.
💡 Tip: To disconnect, tap Connect again. The button will turn white and the status will change to VPN is OFF.
🚩 Important: The number of devices you can connect depends on your subscription plan. If you reach the limit, you’ll be prompted to disconnect a device or upgrade your plan.
Switch VPN Protocols
Changing the VPN protocol can help improve connection speed or stability.
Open Settings at the bottom of the main screen.
Go to the VPN section.
Tap VPN Protocol.
Select a different protocol from the list.
Manage Settings
Adjusting VPN & Privacy Settings allows you to customize how VeePN works and enhance your overall security. These features are optional and can be configured according to your preferences.
VPN Settings
Auto-Connect at Launch – Automatically starts and connects VeePN when Windows launches.
Manage Wi-Fi Network rules – Defines how VeePN behaves when you connect to a new Wi-Fi network, helping protect your connection on unsecured networks.
Split Tunneling – Lets selected apps or websites bypass the VPN connection while keeping other traffic protected.
DNS Leak Protection – Ensures your DNS requests are routed through the VPN to prevent leaks.
Custom DNS – Allows you to specify your own DNS servers for added control over your network settings.
Privacy Settings
Block Ads – Stops unwanted advertisements while browsing.
Block Malicious Websites – Prevents access to known harmful or phishing sites.
Block Online Tracking – Reduces the ability of websites and advertisers to track your activity.
