Installing VeePN on a Smart TV allows you to secure your connection and access content directly on your TV.
Depending on your device, VeePN can be installed as an app or configured through your router. This guide explains the available setup options. Here’s how to get started:
Purchase a VeePN Subscription
A Premium subscription is required to use VeePN on a Smart TV. If you’re not ready to subscribe yet, you can explore our free options, but router setup is only available with a paid plan.
Smart TV & Fire TV Setup
Open the Google Play Store or Amazon Store on your Smart TV.
Download and install the VeePN app.
Open the app and sign in with your VeePN account, or create a new account if needed.
💡Note: You can also set up VeePN on your router to cover all devices connected to your network, including your Smart TV.
Apple TV Setup
Use Smart DNS to connect your Apple TV to VeePN:
Log in to your VeePN account on the website.
Open the Overview tab and go to the Smart DNS section. Select Apple TV.
On Apple TV, go to Settings → Network → Wi-Fi/Ethernet → Configure DNS → Manual.
Enter the Smart DNS server address from your account.
Save changes and restart your Apple TV.
💡 Note: You can also connect Apple TV via your router. This will route all network traffic through VeePN, including your Apple TV.
