This guide will help you get started with VeePN on your Linux device, so you can enjoy secure and unrestricted internet access. To get started with VeePN:
Purchase a VeePN Subscription
Start by purchasing a VeePN subscription that fits your needs. If you’re not ready to subscribe, you can explore the available free options to get started.
Generate Configuration Files
Visit our website and log in to your account.
Open the Overview tab.
Scroll down to the Advanced section and select Linux.
In the location search bar, choose the server location you want to connect to.
Download the configuration file by selecting either TCP or UDP, or download a ZIP file containing all locations.
At the bottom of the page, generate and save your login credentials for the VPN setup.

Setup VeePN on Ubuntu
1. Extract Configuration Files: Extract the downloaded zip archive containing the configuration files.
2. Install OpenVPN Network Manager: Open Terminal and run the following command:
sudo apt-get install -y network-manager-openvpn-gnome3. Configure OpenVPN:
- Open Network Settings from the System menu and click on the "+" button in the VPN section.
- Select "Import from file...". Locate and select the downloaded OpenVPN configuration file, then click Open.
4. Add Credentials: Enter the username and password generated earlier in your account. Click Add and close the Settings window.
5. Connect to VPN: Open the System menu, Go to VPN and click Connect. Once connected, a VPN icon will appear in the system tray.

Setup VeePN on Fedora
1. (Optional) Extract Configuration Files: If you downloaded a ZIP file, right-click the archive and select Extract, or press Enter.
2. Install required packages: Navigate to Terminal (press "Win" key and type "Teminal" in the top search bar) and enter the following commands and press Enter:
sudo dnf update
sudo dnf install openvp NetworkManager-openvpn-gnome -y3. Import configuration files via Network Manager: Open Settings using the system search. Select Network from the left-hand menu. Click the “+” button in the VPN section.4. Import VPN Configuration: Choose Import from file… Select the desired configuration file and click Open.
5. Add Connection Details: Open the Identity tab. Enter a connection name (for example, VeePN Quebec TCP). Enter your username and password generated in your account. Click Add.
6. Connect to VPN: Toggle the VPN connection in Network Settings, or connect directly from the top system panel.
