This guide will help you get started with VeePN on your macOS device, so you can enjoy secure and unrestricted internet access. To get started with VeePN:
Purchase a VeePN Subscription or Explore Free Options
Start by purchasing a VeePN subscription that fits your needs. If you’re not ready to subscribe, you can explore the available free options to get started.
Download VeePN App for macOS
Open the App Store using the provided link, or download the installation file from our website for manual setup.
Download and install the VeePN app.
Open the app once the installation is complete.
Log In to Your Account
Open the VeePN app.
Enter your email and password, or log in with Apple ID or Google if your account was created that way.

If you don’t have an account yet, select Sign Up at the bottom of the screen to create one.
Choose Location and Connect to VPN
On the main screen, tap the location section below the Connect button.
Select your preferred server from the list, or choose Streaming Optimized or Double VPN servers if needed.
When prompted, tap Allow to let VeePN add VPN configurations, then confirm using your passcode or Touch ID.
Tap Connect to establish the VPN connection. When connected, the Connect button will turn green and the status will change to VPN is ON.
💡 Tip: To disconnect, tap Connect again. The button will turn white and the status will change to VPN is OFF.
🚩 Important: The number of devices you can connect depends on your subscription plan. If you reach the limit, you’ll be prompted to disconnect a device or upgrade your plan.
Switch VPN Protocols
Changing the VPN protocol can help improve connection speed or stability.
Open the General Settings tab on the left side of the main screen.
Go to the Protocol section.
Select a different protocol from the list.
Manage Settings
Adjusting General, Privacy, and Advanced Settings allows you to customize how VeePN works and improve your overall security. These options are optional and can be configured based on your personal preferences.
General Settings
The General Settings tab lets you control how VeePN behaves when the app starts. Here you can enable options such as Startup, which automatically launches VeePN when your device turns on, and Auto Connection, which connects the VPN automatically under selected conditions.
Advanced Settings
In the Advanced Settings tab, you can enable Wi-Fi Auto Protect to automatically secure your trusted networks. You can also add rules for specific Wi-Fi networks to control when VeePN connects, ensuring your connection is always safe.
Privacy Settings
The Privacy Settings tab offers several tools to improve your online safety:
Block Ads – stops unwanted advertisements while browsing.
Block Malicious Websites – prevents access to known harmful sites.
Block Online Tracking – reduces the ability of websites and advertisers to track your activity.
VPN Kill Switch – automatically blocks internet traffic if the VPN connection drops, keeping your connection fully protected.
