This guide will help you use the GPS Location Changer feature on an Android device to change your device’s reported location. Make sure you have the VeePN app installed and an active subscription to access this feature.
What is GPS Location Changer?
GPS Location Changer allows you to modify the GPS coordinates reported by your Android device. This can be useful for apps and services that rely on GPS data rather than IP-based location, helping you control how your location is detected.
How to Set Up GPS Location Changer
When you enable GPS Location Changer follow these steps. Each step must be completed to move to the next screen.
Turn On Developer Mode: Open the VeePN app and tap Go to settings. You will be redirected to About device. Tap Build number seven times to enable Developer mode. Return to the VeePN app to continue.
Select Mock Location App: On the Mock location app screen, tap Go to developer options. Open Developer options and select VeePN under Select mock location app. Return to the VeePN app.
Allow Location Permissions: When prompted, tap Allow to grant the app access to your device location. If denied, tap the button again to open system settings and manually grant permission.
Review the Tutorial: A short tutorial will appear explaining how to select a location. Tap Continue to proceed.
Choose a Location: If GPS is off, a prompt will appear. You can Enable GPS, which moves the marker to your real location, or Keep It Off, which moves the marker to Paris by default. Select the location you want to use.
Using GPS Location Changer
After setup, the map screen will display your location:
If GPS is enabled, the marker automatically shows your real location.
If GPS is disabled, choose whether to enable it or keep it off.
Select a new location on the map and apply it. Your device will now report the selected GPS location to supported apps.
